Amanzi Waterpark Palembang

Masyarakat kota Palembang yang ingin menikmati liburan bersama keluarga, kembali dimanjakan dengan kehadiran Amanzi Waterpark. Wahana permainan air terbesar di Kota Palembang tersebut hadir di komplek perumahan Citra Grand City.

Amanzi Waterpark dibangun dengan luas sekitar 3,5 hektar (tahap pertama). Sesuai namanya, akan mengambil tema petualangan alam liar hutan Afrika. Desain dan elemen-elemen arsitektur, penataan landscape, sculpture sampai ke graphic design mengacu kepada kekhasan flora dan fauna alam liar hutan Afrika. “Kami mengambil tema Amanzi Waterpark yang mengandung cerita dan hiburan yang edukatif dan inspiratif, permainan slide didatangkan dari Belanda, Australia, India dan Indonesia. Sementara untuk ban berasal dari Zebec Korea yang telah berpengalaman memproduksi ban untuk waterpark" ujar Eko Sudarusman, General Manager Amanzi Waterpark.

Amanzi Waterpark memiliki berbagai wahana yang mengasyikan dan menegangkan sehingga membuat pengunjung betah bermain air berjam-jam. Setiap wahana yang terdapat di Amanzi Waterpark menawarkan suasana yang berbeda. Bangunan utama Amanzi Waterpark dikonsep sebagai sebuah istana dari suku yang terpencil di pedalaman Afrika. Tampilannya bersifat megah tetapi juga festive dan fun dengan ornament atap dari daun palem, patung ornament mamut, dan gorila. Setelah membeli tiket, pengunjung memasuki Plaza Utama yang dianalogikan sebagai halaman dari istana suku primitive Afrika. Dari Plaza Utama pengunjung dapat melanjutkan petualangannya ke area kolam.

Bagi anak-anak yang masih kecil dapat bermain air dan berenang dengan aman dan nyaman serta dapat bercanda di wahana Zimbas Zone sehingga orang tua tidak perlu khawatir dengan keselamatan anak pada saat bermain air dan berenang. Area kolam anak ini berkonsep sebagai area pemukiman suku primitive dengan gazebo dan pergola sebagai rumah penduduknya yang mengelilingi kolam.

Sementara pengunjung yang ingin bersantai, berbasah-basahan, sambil menikmati suasana pemandangan Amanzi Waterpark seluruhnya, bisa menikmati wahana kolam arus River Nile. Kolam arus sepanjang 500 meter ini dianalogikan sebagai Sungai Nil yang mengalir sepanjang Afrika, melewati hutan-hutan di pedalaman Afrika.

Bermain air di Amanzi Waterpark belum puas rasanya jika tidak bermain seluncuran karena terdapat Kilimanjaro Tower yang menjadi akses ke empat wahana seluncuran. Bagi yang senang dengan tantangan dan ingin merasakan sensasi yang menegangkan, pengunjung dapat meluncur di wahana The Cyclone yang bentuk luncurannya spiral seperti tornado. Pengunjung memakai ban saat meluncur dari ketinggian 15 meter. "Wahana The Cyclone merupakan wahana yang jarang ada di sebuah waterpark di Indonesia" tambah yudi.

Wahana seluncuran yang tidak kalah seru adalah The Velocity yang bentuk luncurannya lurus dan tajam. Terdapat 4 seluncuran sepanjang 60 meter dengan ketinggian 11 meter yang bisa digunakan pengunjung dengan memakai matras atau badan saja. Lalu wahana seluncuran The Raft sepanjang 120 meter yang bisa digunakan meluncur oleh pengunjung dengan memakai ban dari ketinggian 12 meter. Juga wahana seluncuran sepanjang 90 meter The Falls yang bisa digunakan meluncur oleh pengunjung dengan badan saja tanpa memakai ban dari ketinggian 14 meter. Bagi pengunjung yang ingin menikmati pijatan yang dapat membuat rileks atau bermain volley air bisa ke wahana Zimba & Cora (Match Pool & Family Pool) yang dilengkapi Stone Henge, Family Slide, dan Water Volley. Suasana ceria dan kehangatan berkumpul dengan keluarga dan teman akan terasa di wahana Zimba & Cora.

Taman Wisata Alam Punti Kayu merupakan satu-satunya hutan wisata di kota Palembang yang terletak 6 km dari pusat kota. Kawasan Taman Puntikayu merupakan kawasan konservasi yang konsep pengembanganya berdasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip perlindungan keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan hayati dan satwa.

Potensi TWA Punti Kayu berupa panorama hutan pinus (pinus mercussi) yang memiliki nilai estetika pemandangan menarik, serta adanya kebun binatang mini dengan hewan liar yaitu : kera ekor panjang (Macaca Fasicicularis), Beruk (Macaca Nemistriana), dll.

Selain itu ada juga arena menunggang kuda, area atraksi gajah, taman bunga, taman bermain anak, dermaga perahu, kolam renang anak, jembatan gantung, panggung terbuka, dan joglo/pendopo.

Untuk fasilitas terdapat pintu gerbang, loket karcis, musholla, pusat informasi, toilet umum, kantin / pondok pedagang sumur, tower air, pos keamanan, dan tempat parkir yang luas.

Hutan Wisata Punti Kayu, secara geografis terletak antara 103° 11″-103° 40″ Bujur Timur dan 3° 11″-3° 12″ Lintang selatan, yang secara administrasi pemerintahan terletak di daerah wilayah Kecamatan Sukarami Kota Palembang Propinsi Sumatera Selatan.

Hutan Wisata Punti Kayu mempunyai potensi strategis dengan batas-batas kawasan :
- Sebelah Utara berbatasan dengan jalan Kol. H. Burlian dan tanah milik Pemda Sumatera Selatan.
- Sebelah Timur berbatasan dengan perumahan penduduk.
- Sebelah Selatan berbatasan dengan tanah milik Departemen Pertanian, Departemen Kehutanan, dan Pemda SumSel.
- Sebelah Barat berbatasan dengan daerah rawa-rawa Talang Buruk.
